Jose Alberich never expected to become a consultant. But during two decades at Kearney, he’s found that Kearney’s culture has given him the opportunity to explore one of his passions: teaching. Before working as a consultant, Jose spent 10 years in the energy industry and at the same time working as a lecturer at a university in his native Spain. At Kearney, Jose spends much of his time not only helping his clients, but also those he works with. “I really love to teach and help people grow,” says Jose. “I enjoy leading teams and I enjoy coaching individuals.”
But when he’s not making an impact on his teams, he is helping his clients make an impact on the world at large, specifically in the Middle East. Since 2007, Jose has focused primarily on working with global and regional Middle Eastern companies and government entities. He has significant experience in manufacturing and industrial maintenance, supply chain and procurement, and energy and commodities trading. Over the past few years, he has intensified his dedication to localization as well as economic and industrial development in GCC countries.
And whether he is consulting with a government on building a new city, helping clients push the envelope with a challenging implementation, or helping colleagues with their professional development, Jose says that Kearney provides him the perfect outlet. “A place like Kearney is for me more than a good place to work, it is a great one—to both work and grow,” he says.
