Wojtek has an extensive track record as an international project and program director (EU EAR, PHARE, TACIS; World Bank, USAID, DFID) with specialist knowledge of emerging markets and has led some of the largest projects financed by the donors in the Central & Eastern Europe. He was in charge of projects like the development of strategy for the Coal Mining Sector in The Ukraine, advising to the Privatisation Agency of Serbia, Structural Economic Reforms Project in Iraq, Privatisation and Enterprise Development in Kosovo, Shipping Project in Lithuania, Economic Reform assistance in Bulgaria, Privatisation in Armenia etc. Participated in preparation of the 2010 Ukrainian reforms program. Prepared the coordination of Ukrainian reforms project. Recently Wojtek was engaged as an adviser to the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu in Saudi Arabia
He is a leader with specialist knowledge of the emerging markets & cultures along with extensive experience of leading some of the largest, most complex, high profile Mergers & Acquisition and restructuring projects ever undertaken in emerging economies of the CE Europe region. He has broad experience in economic and structural reforms, political process change, oversight of large takeover transactions and has identified several profitable investment opportunities for international investors in several sectors such as metal processing, mining, car industry, chemical industry, transport, food processing, textile and other consumer goods.
Wojtek has an MSc from the Warsaw University of Natural Sciences, an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa and has completed the Harvard University Program on Structural Reform, Corporate Governance and Privatisation. He is fluent in English, Polish and Russian and has varying competences in Ukrainian, Belorussian, Bulgarian, Serbo-Croatian, Italian, Spanish, Slovak and Afrikaans.
