Selected Project Experience

Project Description:
Led multiple project workstreams across two large programs of work: Standard Approach to Counterparty Credit Risk (SA-CCR) to ensure compliance with new Basel regulations for measuring counterparty credit risk for derivative contracts under the regulatory capital rule and to resolve existing regulatory gaps and issues impacting RWA; Price Risk to address enterprise-wide issues in price risk management across 1 & 2 LoD, and define strategic plan and book of work to improve price risk management and process and controls across Citi Markets’ business. Responsibilities include:  Develop and execute detailed project plans to meet milestones and CAP deadlines, manage delivery execution, conduct ongoing monitoring of progress across milestones, deliverables, risks/issues, etc., and provide regular status updates and escalations to SteerCo and other governance forums.  Oversee functional PM resources involved in day-day task execution and milestone delivery and administer and monitor project status at program level and coordinate across functional PMs to review and challenge plans, deliverables, change requests, resourcing and budget requirements.  Facilitate cross-program coordination and status reporting between individual work streams to ensure clear governance and communication processes are established for the project and aligned with overall program governance and communication plans.  Establish and lead formal working groups and partner with members and key stakeholders to escalate and resolve risks, issues and dependencies that may impact delivery of project milestones.

Project Description:
Oversaw a team of 5 resources responsible for managing corporate technology strategic projects and the on-going management of enterprise technology products. Key accomplishments included: Worked with leadership of business units across the firm (e.g., Equities and Fixed Income Portfolio Management teams, Institutional Research, Private Client, etc.) to understand key requirements and corporate technology needs and to design business-specific solutions, often working closely with technology vendors to develop and deliver solutions. Identified, prioritized and managed the delivery of multiple strategic technology projects as well as the development and implementation of new features and functionality for corporate technology products that required the management of product roadmaps, deployment of new product releases, and day-to-day product support across all client endpoints. Managed the design and development of Management reports using BI technologies (e.g., PowerBI) to report key enterprise technology product usage metrics for each Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and geographic region and delivering reports to the SBU Heads monthly. Built new product and project management frameworks to improve the team’s ability to oversee strategic technology projects and better manage AB’s portfolio of enterprise technology products critical to support the firm’s core businesses and operations, which consisted of: Formalizing project management policies and procedures that define requirements related to project governance structure, methodology (e.g., Agile vs Waterfall), project tracking, reporting and artifacts. Standardizing key project artifacts including charters, plans, trackers, RAID logs, RACI matrices, status reports, milestone closure documents and governance meeting forms. Designing the information architecture to automate project management workflows and significantly improve project tracking, deliverables and Management reporting.
